Daniel is a very interesting character in the bible. He was captured and taken to a foreign land to live at a very early age probably when he was in his teens. In this land he grew and prospered until he became second in command even to the king himself. Yet he did not achieve this feat by playing politics but by a committed and consistent walk with the God of Israel.
