Woke up early this morning. Good. Still rolled around the bed like my usual lazy self until the alarm went off. Praise God for a new day.
I read the story on Isaac today, how he lied about his wife Rebekah just like his father Abraham did. Amazing when you note that Isaac was not there when Abraham lied but he somehow 'caught' this spirit. I wonder what I am passing on to my children... I do pray its only the good stuff..
We all sometimes do things we are not always proud of.. except if you are a saint of course. You will also notice if you look carefuly that we pick up many of these things from our parents or generations before us. How did that happen? dunno. However, I do hope my son does not 'catch' any of those from me as I did from my father. I pray that they stop with me!!!
I promise my son and generations after me that they will indeed stop with me! With the grace and strength available to me in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, I can do it!
